“Calm, very competent, and professionally curious are attributes I would attach to Lisa Hockersmith after using her real estate services to successfully research, explore, locate, and purchase a property in Eagle. I was moving to the Boise area from Seattle and really did not know the area that well at all. I had been given some pointers from local friends and relatives but that was about it… So here I was in Boise and it was time to find a house. Lisa had been referred to me from my Coldwell Banker Real Estate Agent in Seattle – a good sign there, right? Lisa and I conferred over the phone initially, and then we established regular communications via email. This was helpful for me as I was in and out of Boise it seemed like every other few days on business travel. Still during my remote times away the research and exploration continued – Lisa was doing her job. I could not see it but she was… I had given Lisa some guidelines on where I thought I might want to end up in the Boise area with added rough budget guidelines and housing style design preferences. Amazingly when we first met to do house trips she had found 3 of the same communities / developments that I had researched on my own. I think this is important to point out as she was able to decipher my emails and our conversations and get a *spot on* perspective of my personal housing needs. It was actually fun and kind of amazing. Not once did we view a property that was “off”; they all were in range of what I wanted. After a few weeks an offer was made on an Eagle property. Now Lisa’s value grew. She *knows* the Boise builders, contractors, suppliers, and vendors. She was able to give quality and valuable advice on builder questions and reputations, all done professionally. This was helpful and comforting for me. I trusted Lisa. Example: She was able to speed up my high-speed internet and cable TV service from two weeks to two days with a phone call… The final point I want to make is the’ professionally curious’ comment from above. Lisa is quiet, well in my experiences at least she was – she lets you look around at your pace – there is no high-pressure talk or anything of that nature. So, during our ‘walk through’ I saw things and pointed them out to be resolved BUT Lisa, being curious with a good dose of attention to detail, saw so many things I did not see: paint issues here; tile joint issues there, etc. Nothing serious that caused us to back away but important things that when added together helped the house get turn over to me in pristine condition. Now I am settled in a very, very nice house in a very nice comfortable part of Eagle and happy. Thank you, Lisa!”
